**Job Description:** High Rise Fire Safety Specialist

Essential Employment is seeking a highly skilled High Rise Fire Safety Specialist to join our team in Manchester. As a High Rise Fire Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for managing fire safety management duties, FRA remedial works programmes, and acting as the lead for property fires. You will also liaise with GMFRS and work with the Building Safety Manager in managing MCC's 12,500 stock, including high rise accommodation.

The successful candidate will ensure the effective delivery of all fire safety works to a high level of customer satisfaction and legal compliance. They will provide assurance to the Head of Design & Delivery, Executive Management team, the relevant Corporate Board, and the Housing Advisory Board on all fire safety compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate fire safety works across multiple sites
  • Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections and tests
  • Develop and implement fire safety training programmes for staff
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation
  • Analyse and report on fire safety performance metrics

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
