Fire and Security Project Manager

Job Purpose
Regional Recruitment Services is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Project Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring profitability and growth within the Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to customers while adhering to budgetary guidelines and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in fire and security installations, system upgrades, and modifications in line with contracts.
- Supervise engineers and specialist subcontractors, ensuring high standards of work.
- Maintain regular communication with clients on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with business planning, regularly reviewing performance to meet financial targets.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals, set objectives, and review progress for team members.
- Identify and resolve service delivery issues to meet contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards to maintain contract integrity.
- Regularly meet with customers to sustain and enhance existing business, addressing any contractual or commercial issues.
- Support the project delivery team in expanding the value of business within existing contracts.
- Supervise subcontractors and manage the procurement of materials within the preferred supplier framework.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all contract-related works.
- Oversee all health, safety, security, environmental, and technical compliance matters.
- Assist in staff welfare, including identifying and addressing training needs.
Essential Experience:
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience in overseeing installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects for fire and security systems.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm technologies.
- Team Supervision: Proven ability to manage and coordinate on-site engineers and subcontractors effectively.
- Budgeting and Scheduling: Proficient in managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Client Liaison: Experience in communicating effectively with clients to manage expectations and provide regular project updates.
- Quality Control: Commitment to ensuring that installation work complies with safety and regulatory standards.
- Documentation: Experience in preparing project reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
- IPAF certification.
- FIA industry accreditation (up to installation).
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
