Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's Highways & Smart Motorway projects in the South East, Home counties, and M25 regions. This role will involve working closely with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Target Costs, Cost Plans, Payment Certificates, and Valuations to accurately record liabilities on the contractor payment management system.
  • Effective communication with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Maintenance of good written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, specifically Microsoft Office, to support administrative tasks.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in Construction performing commercial duties, with a strong understanding of Civil engineering and Highways measurement principles.
  • Conversance with NEC3 conditions of contract, particularly options A, B, C, and E.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management).
  • Professional membership or certification (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex construction projects.
  • Ambitious and results-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
