Cellular Origins is a leading company in the field of bioprocess automation, and we are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Architect to join our team.

We are revolutionizing the manufacturing of cell therapies, and our proprietary technology is at the forefront of this revolution. Our robotic automation system is designed to cut costs, reduce labor, eliminate human error, and boost efficiency.

As a Simulation Architect, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission by architecting, designing, developing, and optimizing our robotic Constellation system. Your deep expertise in simulation, coupled with real-world experience and problem-solving mindset, will be essential in steering us towards a highly efficient solution.

You will collaborate with internal teams, partners, and customers to gather vital information, and your ability to evaluate architectural designs, assess alternative scenarios, and apply optimization techniques will drive our future planning and design decisions.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in the design and development of large-scale manufacturing, automation, or logistics systems
  • Some experience with Operations Research, either through industry experience or academic background
  • Experience with the use of Discrete Event Simulation to represent real-world systems
  • Experience or knowledge in modeling system behavior, formulating optimization models, and using numerical techniques
  • Knowledge of applying dynamic optimization techniques for numerical or computational methods
  • Software development experience, including Python
  • Experience with cost modeling
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ideally, some experience within the Life Science field
