We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our client's Prefabrication Team in Banbridge. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality expectations and escalate any issues to the prefabrication manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Ensure production units match all approved drawings and specifications.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect, test, measure & report on materials & products being produced.
  • Quality Management: Ensure all quality checks are completed and recorded within the quality management system.
  • Acceptance and Rejection: Accept or reject finished items.
  • Reporting: Report inspection and test data.
  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Report and Record Non-Conformances.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role within the M&E or manufacturing industries.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Mathematical and Technical Skills: Good mathematical and technical skills.
  • Quality Control Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and Oral communication skills.
  • Interpretation Skills: Excellent knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Transportation: Full driving license with access to own transport.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Education: GCSE at Grade C or above in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent qualification.
  • Weld Inspection Experience: Experience of weld inspection.
  • Electrical or Mechanical Schematics: An understanding of Electrical or Mechanical Schematics.
  • Certification: Certification in quality control is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the UK and Ireland.
