About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team on weekends, working 10 hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your culinary expertise to a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, prepare, cook, and present meals to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  2. Ensure routine day-to-day cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, kitchen floors, and storage areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  3. Control waste effectively during preparation and cooking processes.
  4. Maintain the highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
  5. Manage and control all food, including receiving and checking stock, ensuring correct use of equipment and materials, and monitoring portion control.
  6. Collect and record routine data as required and perform daily checks, including temperature control during production, preparation, service, and storage.
  7. Report any accidents, near misses, damage, or breakages to the Catering Supervisor immediately.
  8. E nsure the Catering Department is opened and closed at the required times and secured when not in use.
Requirements
  1. 2 years of hands-on cooking experience.
  2. Experience of working to strict food hygiene standards.
  3. Ability to follow recipes and openness to cooking various cuisines.
