Security Lead

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Security Lead - Governance and Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our Security department, you will play a critical role in overseeing critical Governance and reporting processes, addressing the complex challenges of the regulatory landscape, and supporting the CSO in day-to-day operations across various Security pillars.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage various activities associated with the identification and assessment of risks, recommending appropriate actions, and coordinating overall security communication both internally and externally.
- Define processes and oversee the continuous execution from a Governance perspective on managing regulatory reporting for EU-DORA and other regulations globally.
- Support DORA-related activities transversally within the Security functions, such as for Operational Resilience to develop/maintain 3rd Party Exit Strategies & Plans, IT disaster recovery testing plans, execution governance, and incident reporting processes.
- Manage the data repositories, dashboards/reports, and support the execution of repeatable processes contributing to the overall program's success.
- Lead assignments and projects consisting of multiple contributors and senior stakeholders.
- Provide support on ITAR/EAR related programs by participating in projects that review and analyze data that cannot be viewed by non-US citizens or permanent residents.
- Facilitate the Quarterly Security Committee Meetings, liaising with meeting members and senior stakeholders.
- Develop visualizations for KPIs/KRIs and operations metrics to inform leadership of our security posture.
- Gather, update, and finalize regular executive committee and board reports for the CSO and other leaders in Security, streamlining data for reporting and communication, and highlighting key achievements, risks, and challenges across Security in easy-to-understand formats for senior executives.
- Provide support that may be required on strategy and metrics for Security.
- Contribute to key projects such as Digital Operational Resilience Act (EU-DORA) (e.g., regulatory alignment, program enhancements, business support activities, etc.).
- University Graduate/Postgraduate with experience in Insurance, Reinsurance, Financial, or Professional Services Industry.
- Strong expertise in Data Visualization (e.g., PowerBi), MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Superb report writing skills and attention to detail.
- Possession and passion for creating compelling presentations and reports, turning data points and facts into a coherent message that gets the attention of executive/board level members.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously, involving advanced project and self-management skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, professional level in spoken and written English language.
- Passionate drive to build networks and working relationships in a culture of mutual success across team boundaries, locations, time zones, and cultures.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestic/international.
