Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our team. As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptual design of thermal processing plant, designing and drawing steel frameworks for ovens, dryers, and furnaces, and providing drawings for workshop fabrication, including cutting lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptual design of thermal processing plant
  • Design and drawing steel frameworks for ovens, dryers, and furnaces
  • Design product handling systems
  • Providing drawings for workshop fabrication, including cutting lists
  • Sales drawings to enhance tenders
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D is essential
  • An understanding of steel construction techniques would be an advantage
  • Experience in drawing light/medium weight structural steel frameworks desirable
  • A knowledge of air movement systems incorporating ductwork and plenums would be helpful
