Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Moulding Technician to join our team at Hozelock. As a key member of our injection moulding production team, you will be responsible for establishing setting parameters for all injection moulding machines, tools, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish setting parameters for injection moulding machines, tools, and ancillary equipment as directed by the Technical Manager.
  • Be an active member of the injection moulding production team.
  • Support CIT activities on the shop floor.
  • Complete training to ensure skills cover all aspects of injection moulding.
  • Provide training to all supervisors, setters, and operators in all aspects of injection moulding and associated processes.
  • Assist setters in maintaining process parameters and improving efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out on all equipment.
  • Utilise slow work periods to improve machine efficiency.
  • Assist tooling Manager in the redesign of processes as required.
  • Assist the NPD process as required.
  • Assist design engineers in the redesign of components as required.
  • Identify equipment not fit for purpose and propose cost-effective solutions to maintain production.
  • Ensure all work undertaken is completed safely and with relevant authorisation.
Requirements
  • Trained in advanced injection moulding setting techniques and advanced process evaluation with proven hands-on experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Demag, Krauss Maffei, Arburg, and ATM robots would be an advantage.
  • Previous trialling and moulding techniques experience.
  • Experience of working within project/time environment.
  • Qualified to operate hoist/lifting equipment.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.
  • Fork lift license (desired but not essential).
