Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner at Equinox. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our state-of-the-art club and exercise equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the club and exercise equipment are clean and well-maintained, providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Present the sidewalk entrance and lobby in a clean and welcoming manner.
  • Clean and stock the locker room, including laundry and consumables.
  • Organize and maintain storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Receive and store deliveries.
  • Assist with special events and notify the Housekeeping Manager of any issues that require immediate attention.
  • Prepare, launder, and hand over towels and member clothes through our Laundry and Valet services.
Requirements
  • Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred.
  • Ability to service athletic equipment and work with cleaning products and hand tools.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday.
