As a National Business Development Manager at Girbau UK, you'll be responsible for developing new customer relationships and promoting our products to meet sales objectives in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILD A NATIONAL SALES PIPELINE through various approaches including market research, networking, and cold calling.
- GENERATE NEW BUSINESS through active prospecting, self-generated appointments, and following up leads added to the Salesforce CRM system.
- Maintain the Salesforce CRM system with accurate prospecting activity and future pipeline data.
- MANAGE YOUR OWN DIARY OF MEETINGS to generate sales of commercial laundry equipment on a purchase or rental basis.
- EXPAND GIRAUB'S REPUTATION within the marketplace in core identified sectors.
- ATTEND TRADE SHOWS, WORKSHOPS, AND EXHIBITIONS as required.
- MEET MINIMUM KPIs FOR BOTH ACTIVITY AND RESULTS.
- SUPPORT IN THE COMPLILATION AND SUBMISSION OF NATIONAL TENDER BIDS TO SECURE NEW BUSINESS.
About You
- You have a highly motivated attitude towards targets and goals, with a passion for achieving success.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles.
- Career driven, professional, and credible individual with flexibility to go beyond expectations to achieve personal and team targets.
- Excellent presentation and negotiating skills, able to communicate effectively up to board level.
- Prior experience in the Commercial Laundry sector is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable with extensive travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays to meet potential new corporate customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence is required for this field-based role.
