Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Apprentice Childcare Practitioner to join our team at Little Chestnuts Pre School. The successful applicant will have a passion for working with children aged 2-5 years and be committed to delivering high-quality education and care.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with the planning of the curriculum using the EYFS curriculum as guidance, helping to set up playrooms and tidying away at the end of each session. You will also act as a key person to a small group of children, building relationships with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognized and met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and implementation of engaging activities and lessons that meet the needs of children aged 2-5 years.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress and development.
