Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Cardiology Department, you will be responsible for performing a range of investigations on patients referred to the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine procedures within the Cardiology Department, including ECG, Event recorder, and 24hr ECG Holter Monitoring and 24hr Blood Pressure monitoring.
  • Perform advanced procedures, such as Exercise ECG procedures, Echocardiography, basic pacemaker implantation and follow-up, and cardiac angiography.
  • Assist with more specialist procedures and develop and maintain knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Contribute to audit and research activities and assist in other procedures performed within the CMU and local health economy.
