About the Role

The Assistant Workshop Manager plays a critical part in ensuring optimal Fleet performance and meeting the Operator's requirements efficiently and cost-effectively. As a key support to the Workshop Manager, this position is accountable for overseeing Workshop performance and managing people processes.

About You

To excel in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to effectively manage and build relations with stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and deliver results through people
  • Ability to lead, develop and coach to drive performance improvement

Experience

Relevant Industry knowledge and experience of dispersed maintenance operations is essential. Knowledge of compliance requirements for vehicles and trailers maintained to road transport legislation is also required – HGV is desirable.

Qualifications

A full driving licence and recognised Technical Qualification - NVQ level 3 - Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent are required.
