About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a current Jacobs team delivering a construction project in Reading. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team on a dynamic site, collaborating with a leading delivery partner in the Enterprise Asset Solutions business. This role is perfect for experienced Senior Project Managers looking to develop their portfolio by managing large projects with complex client and contractor relations, requiring excellent contract management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage major projects with high-level experience of running large project teams, motivating individuals, resolving conflicts, and ensuring extremely high safety standards;Foster effective internal and external relationships while working in a collaborative environment;Possess good communication skills (oral and written) to exchange information at all levels in a clear and concise manner;Showcase strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality, with a process improvement-oriented mindset;Effectively multitask, identifying and managing priorities, and working to challenging time scales;Maintain good listening skills to assimilate requests and convert them into action plans;Adapt to project changes, using decision-making skills to maximize company benefits;Resolve conflicts and manage disagreements among team members across all disciplines.Requirements:
A degree in project management or a relevant subject, or NVQ level 6 and above;10+ years of experience managing major projects;A chartered level of qualification is desirable;Membership of a relevant professional body such as the APM or an engineering institution is preferred;The ability to obtain a minimum level of SC clearance UK;UK Driving License and Right to Work in the UK.Salary: Estimated £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
