Job Description

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Renewable Connections business in the UK.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for designing and delivering major renewable connection electrical works. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing cost-effective and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Evaluating project risks and potential problems.
  • Delivering projects in various stages of maturity, including feasibility studies and detailed design.
  • Preparing electrical deliverables such as single line diagrams and cable calculations.
  • Liaising with project management staff and equipment vendors.
  • Finalizing and signing off designs before delivery.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and non-regulated sectors.
  • Knowledge of high voltage equipment and systems.
  • Understanding of grid and DNO standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen and organizational skills.
