About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Czech Language Quality Assurance (LQA) Specialist to join our team at Test Dev Tools. As a key member of our LQA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of games and applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough linguistic testing of in-game text to ensure accuracy, correctness, and cultural relevance.
  • Identify and report linguistic bugs using industry-standard bug databases, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute test cases throughout the project life cycle, including document testing practices and LQA process reporting methods.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure Localisation QA effectively tests and supports all features of the project.
  • Continuously improve LQA workflow and techniques, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Expert-level proficiency in Czech language and culture.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Passion for video games and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite and industry-standard software tools.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ).
  • Knowledge of the video game industry and trends.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in linguistics.
