Array Cable Project Specialist


Quanta, part of QCS Staffing, is seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Cable Project Specialist to join our client's newest project based in Array Cable Project Specialist. As a leading player in offshore wind, our client offers an exciting opportunity for a X to work on a prestigious project.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Engineering of supply, jointing, termination, and testing of array cables, including associated connection equipment, in compliance with HVC requirements and standards.
  • Leading technical interfaces within the cable package by providing HVC technical input to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Verifying supplier's product design by reviewing supplier's engineering documentation or independent analyses via HVC approved in-house tools.
  • Reviewing and accepting design of cable routes and routing plans on OSS and FOU.
  • Providing technical input to project risks/opportunities, change requests, variation orders, and claims.
  • Participating in quality audits with the QHSE team.

Requirements:



  • Strong understanding of HV cable systems, including electrical and thermal aspects.
  • Ability to interpret industry standards and Ørsted TRs.
  • 5 years of practical and theoretical experience in high voltage array cables and accessories.
  • BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
