Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Design Engineer to work on an ongoing contract with our client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement telecoms systems, including PAGA, telephony, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and radio systems.
  • Prepare technical document deliverables, such as functional design specifications, operation and maintenance manuals, and main equipment lists.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international telecommunications standards and specifications.
  • Analyse and modify designs to meet updated standards and incorporate new products and components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecoms systems and experience in designing and implementing complex systems. A degree qualification or equivalent experience is required.

Salary: Negotiable (estimated £60-80k per annum based on location and experience)

Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of National and International Telecommunications Standards and Specifications.
  • Significant documented experience with the design of Telecommunication Systems.
  • BICSI Installer 2 Copper and Optical Fibre Certification.
  • Degree qualified or suitable documented experience of no less than 5 years.
