Assistant/Trainee Accountant Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious individual to join our finance team as an Assistant/Trainee Accountant. This key role involves various financial tasks, including reconciliations, analysis, and relationship building.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconciliations: Perform accurate bank and month-end reconciliations, preparing essential reports to ensure the integrity of our financial records.
  • Analysis: Assist with rebate calculations, sales analysis, and ad hoc tasks to provide valuable insights informing business decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong connections internally and with key customers, delivering exceptional service and support their needs.
About the Opportunity:
  1. Education: A-level or equivalent qualification is required.
  2. Skills: Proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, and efficient work habits are essential.
  3. Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays.
  4. Pension: Employee contributes 5%, employer contributes 3%.
  5. Free Parking: Convenient parking at our site.
  6. Salary: £32,500 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience.
