Senior Product Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Compliance Manager to join our team at Betfair International. This role will be responsible for coordinating all prioritized product compliance requests, ranging from license change requests to internal monitoring findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage a compliance intake process, ensuring timely delivery of regulatory changes.
  • Accountable for the overall Product Compliance intake process, portfolio, governance, and reporting, communicating openly and effectively with Management and Senior Leadership on progress, risks, and KPIs.
  • Own the product relationship with Central Compliance, serving as the gatekeeper for all requests and updates across the product.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by working with key stakeholders to introduce and optimize a systematic approach to ensure product compliance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders from commercial, product, tech, and central compliance to ensure regulatory compliance across Betfair International and provide data and regulatory insight to support leadership in making informed decisions.
  • Identify and report on all Product Compliance risk exposures.
  • Work closely with Product Leads to ensure all large-scale initiatives are fully supported.
  • Ensure policies, processes, and procedures are accurately documented, implemented, and followed in Product to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
  • Lead by example, championing our approach of Customer, Collaboration, and Compliance.
  • Contribute to cross-brand alignment and knowledge sharing to ensure compliance across all Flutter brands.
  • This role may require quarterly travel to Cluj, Porto, Dublin, or London.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in product management or regulatory delivery.
  • Previous experience as a Senior BA, Compliance/Risk, or Product Manager with experience working in a scaled agile development methodology environment.
  • A strong leader who can motivate the team and influence wider teams to deliver to the highest standards and challenge the status quo.
  • Deep understanding and experience of Business Analysis/Product Management best practice, including running workshops to elicit requirements.
  • Naturally collaborative with a strong commitment to encouraging cross-functional problem-solving and decision-making to realize outcomes and build trust.
  • An analytical and inquisitive mindset with the ability to analyze problems, determine solutions, and produce tangible outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain a balance between short-term delivery and longer-term strategy.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a desire to see a job through to conclusion.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable operating at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience working in the online sports/gaming industry is advantageous but not necessary.
