Lift Engineer - Lifts Position Overview

As a Field Service Lift Engineer with Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing, repairs, and modernization of lifts. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites to attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing, repairs, and modernization of lifts
  • Install new control panels and provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers
  • Undertake refurbishment, installation, and replacement of lifts in a range of locations, including commercial offices, shopping centers, and private establishments
  • Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company
Requirements:
  • NVQ3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Previous experience within a Lift Service/Repair/Modernization position
  • Relevant qualifications for the position, e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Above
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers, and management
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
  • Full (clean) UK driving license and prepared to travel with the role
Benefits:
  • £40,000-£45,000 salary DOE
  • 39 Hours a week (Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30, Friday 8:00-3:30)
  • 33 days holiday inclusive on bank holiday
