We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our project teams in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. As a key member of our Civil & Structural team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of complex projects, ensuring technical excellence and quality control.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contributing to the development of business proposals and tenders, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

We are looking for a talented engineer with a strong track record of delivering complex projects, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for innovation and sustainability.

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Hydrock, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from infrastructure development to urban regeneration, and to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and communities.

Key requirements include:

  • BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND or HNC civil engineering qualification, with significant experience in a design office environment.
  • Working knowledge of Section 104, 278 and 38 adoption procedures.
  • Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, PDS, Civils3D and MicroDrainage.
  • Good understanding of technical software such as Civil 3D, AutoTrack, industry standard software.
  • Experience working with residential developers.
  • Knowledge of UK planning procedures and ability to provide technical support to secure planning approval.
  • Ability to secure technical approvals from highway and drainage authorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator.
  • Self-motivated team player with good people skills.
