Job Description: As an Assistant Overnight Guide, you will be responsible for leading intermediate-level kayaking courses and assisting in overnight trips. Your primary goal will be to enhance the paddling skills of participants while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- VHF radio license
- CPR-C certification
- 40-hour Wilderness First Aid course completion
Benefits: Successful completion of the course and prerequisites will result in the awarding of SKGABC Assistant Overnight Guide certification. Additionally, you will receive one year of professional membership fees with the SKGABC.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 CAD, depending on location and experience.
