Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Component Engineer to join our team in Wellingborough. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining, maintaining and improving the quality and performance of components used in our operations.

About You:
You will have a proven track record of working in a similar role, with experience of analysing customer information, manufacturing BOMs and operational processes to define components for NPI products. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
- Define and set up new component master data and integrate it into the system
- Analyse customer information, manufacturing BOMs and operational processes to define components for NPI products
- Maintain and update material master data and BOMs, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Support the procurement team by defining technical parameters and validating samples
- Manage engineering change notifications and track component life cycles (EOL, LTB)
- Provide technical support for purchasing, planning, and coordinating product development.

We offer a competitive salary of £41,000 per annum, based on experience.
