We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Lorien, a leading Financial Services company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a 6-month project focused on strategic workforce planning and data diagnostic and evolution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the K2 project, structured across two main areas in 2024
- Develop a foundational data diagnostic and evolution plan, including identifying breaks and gaps in existing processes and agreeing a plan of action to remediate
- Design and develop a strategic workforce planning framework, including a decision around technology, resources, investment, timescales, and priorities to scale across the organization
The project will cover the following areas:
Foundational Data Scope- Total Workforce Visibility: Define what we mean by 'Total Workforce', decide on an approach to integrate legacy, and clear total workforce principles and definitions in place to support and inform future M&A decisions and due diligence
- Depth of workforce insights: Reviewing and defining evolution of existing job and role data, defining approach to skills taxonomy across the organization, and defining contingent and contractor data requirements
- Data Integrity and alignment: Drive alignment between Finance chart of account and HR org structure L4, assess and prioritize other key people data integrity challenges/gaps, and define alignment for delivery via other programs, quick wins, and business case
- Clear roles and responsibilities (cross-functional) to ensure ongoing sustainable maintenance and integrity of our foundational data
- Skills Framework: Agree on scope between SWP and Talent and Capabilities, clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, and interdependencies; explore options and selection for current workforce skills analysis; build out plan to deploy and establish initial baseline; gather requirements for future workforce skill taxonomy
- SWP Methodology: Consider best approach for development of core methodology; identify appropriate SWP technology needs; gather business requirements for SWP in prioritized key areas; produce proposed methodology narrative and overview for business engagement
- Approach: Prepare socialization and groundwork for proposed methodology and framework; identify 2 business areas; produce plan to create a cleansed current workforce baseline; run pilots to validate data and processes in place, and test SWP methodology
