Job Overview

SSE Enterprise is seeking an experienced Power Network Technician to join our team in the Southern Electric Power Distribution network. This role involves carrying out construction and repair work on various networks, from LV to 11/33kV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on electrical infrastructure;
  • Responding to emergency situations and performing tasks as required;
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and reporting any issues or concerns.

Salary: £53,000 - £58,000 per annum

Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in power distribution or a related field;
  • Full UK driving licence;
  • Possession of relevant industry-recognized qualifications (e.g., DNO Industry recognized overhead line qualifications).
