Job Title: Front-of-House Trainer

Southport College is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Front-of-House Trainer to join our academic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in Hospitality programmes, focusing on developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge in students.

To be successful, you must hold a Level 3 qualification in Hospitality/Catering and have recent industry experience, particularly in front-of-house roles.

A strong background in education and training is essential, along with the ability to work flexibly, including day and evening shifts.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and passion for Hospitality with students and contribute to their development as future professionals.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and guidance to support student success.

In addition to teaching, you will also participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in professional development activities to maintain your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Hospitality/Catering
  • Recent industry experience, particularly in front-of-house roles
  • Strong background in education and training
  • Ability to work flexibly, including day and evening shifts
