Job Title: Residential Property Solicitor

Join our team at Simpson Judge Ltd as a highly experienced Residential Property Solicitor to take on a newly created Technical Lead position within our Conveyancing department.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience in Residential Property to lead our team and ensure compliance with all regulations. As a Technical Lead, you will work closely with the Group Compliance Director to provide advice and guidance on complex caseloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload of varied Residential Property files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold, lease extensions, and SDLT requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with law, regulation, protocols, and best practice in the conveyancing process.
  • Provide technical training and mentoring to trainee solicitors.
  • Collaborate with the Group Compliance Director to ensure advice provided is compliant with all regulations.
