Neurological Rehabilitation Care Opportunities

Sensible Locums invites applications from skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses for a position in a neurological rehabilitation setting. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting patients with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health requirements.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications and monitor their effects, maintaining precise patient records.
  • Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, emphasizing a patient-centric approach.
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as required, ensuring a secure environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with the medical team, reporting any changes or concerns related to patient progress.
  • Partner with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in ward rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive care.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options, promoting awareness and understanding.
Benefits and Requirements:
  • Competitive salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
