Mirus Aircraft Seating is a leading manufacturer of aircraft seating solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Test Technician to support our engineers and senior technicians in executing dynamic, static, and life cycle tests for our aircraft seating products. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical fitting background, electrical/electronic skills, and experience in a testing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and execute static, dynamic, and life cycle tests in accordance with test procedures and customer requirements.
• Support the development and certification of new products, including testing and validation.
• Manufacture and maintain test fixtures and equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
• Ensure a high level of housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Mechanical or electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical fitting skills and electrical/electronic knowledge.
• Experience in a testing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with high-speed data acquisition systems and photography.
• Knowledge of international regulations and standards related to aircraft testing.
