Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Relief Retail Officer to help protect people and property across various sites. As a key part of our security team, you will be the frontline defender, monitoring activities and reporting any incidents using tools like wands and metal detectors.
This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment and have a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and training.
Key Responsibilities- Prevent and deter unauthorized access to the site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols.
- Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties.
- Maintain all logbooks and records.
- Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management.
- SIA license required.
- 1-3 years of security experience.
- Prior experience within the Retail industry.
- Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history.
- Able to get to the site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute).
- Punctual and Reliable.
- Excellent customer service and computer literate.
- Managing others.
- Manages Self.
- Decision Making.
- Communication Skills.
