Job Title: Senior Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervisor to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As a Senior Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial markets by supervising firms' and trading venues' market abuse surveillance arrangements.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the FCA's efforts to tackle market abuse. You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the Secondary Market Oversight Department's market abuse surveillance activities
  • Leading visits to firms, trading venues, and other market participants to assess their market abuse surveillance arrangements
  • Working with other FCA teams to assess new trading venues and benchmark applications
  • Analysing internal surveillance data to identify potential market abuse
  • Contributing to the development of internal market abuse surveillance systems and procedures
  • Liaising with industry participants to promote market abuse surveillance best practices
