Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to lead our team in Richmond upon Thames. As a key member of our dynamic unit, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and treatment to a diverse range of animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care and treatment to animals with a focus on patient welfare and well-being.
- Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, ensuring the highest standards of care and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration with colleagues.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and efficient workflow.
- Ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently during your shifts, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Holding a veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) is essential for this role.
- You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
- Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care is highly desirable, allowing you to provide expert care and guidance to patients.
- Commitment to continuous professional development is expected, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and advancements in veterinary care.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with 1 in 6 weekends at our Richmond 24-hour Hospital. The salary package offered is £35,000 - £40,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this position within our team.
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a generous CPD allowance to support ongoing training and development. Our company pension scheme and other benefits further contribute to creating a supportive and collaborative work environment.
