We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Practitioner. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients.
About the Role:- Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of adult inpatient OT services to ensure effective, consistent, and equitable access to OT services.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of the OT service within the care group and take a lead in aspects of service development.
- Work with the OT Professional Lead and Head of OT to agree strategic professional action plans and implementation.
- Provide OT advice to the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide specialist OT input to the planning, development, and evaluation of clinical services, holding responsibility for defined projects.
- Offer specialist OT assessments and interventions to a caseload of clients with complex needs.
- Contribute to the planning, development, provision, and evaluation of the OT Services within the Salford inpatient Division, as well as taking a lead in aspects of audit, standard setting, research, and development.
- Be responsible for the prioritization of referrals for OT and the provision of an evidence-based OT service.
- Provide professional supervision and induction to junior staff and students, as well as training to students, staff colleagues, and other agencies.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours to meet the requirements of service users.
- Provide an OT perspective in inpatient management team meetings.
