Role Overview

You will be responsible for maximising the value of network technologies, including end-to-end enterprise connectivity and automation across various hosting and cloud environments. As a key member of the Aviva Network team, you will play a crucial role in identifying technical options, presenting to less technical audiences, and providing technical leadership in large and small project engagements.

A key aspect of this role is collaborating with internal stakeholders to define requirements and objectives, ensuring that technology operations meet these requirements. You will work closely with business units to identify and implement processes and automation to drive operational efficiencies and resolve any outstanding operational issues caused by technology.

This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards, recent technologies, and key market trends. Experience in network automation, including tools and common scripting languages, such as Python, is essential. Additionally, knowledge of packet-level traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise the value of network technologies, including end-to-end enterprise connectivity and automation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and objectives.
  • Work with business units to identify and implement processes and automation to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Provide technical leadership in large and small project engagements.

Salary: London based £70,000, National based £60,000 (depending on Location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
