Lead Pastry Chef Opportunity in Luxury Knightsbridge Hotel

A prestigious luxury hotel in Knightsbridge is seeking a talented and experienced Demi Chef to take on a leadership role in their renowned pastry kitchen. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and creative pastry chef to step into a leadership position, working in a dynamic and high-end environment that prides itself on excellence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all pastries meet luxury standards for taste and presentation
  • Follow recipes precisely to maintain consistency and quality
  • Monitor ingredient freshness and ensure proper storage
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen
  • Track and manage pastry inventory, reporting shortages
  • Support menu development with creative input for new items
  • Train and mentor junior staff in pastry techniques
  • Ensure timely production of pastries for service
  • Conduct quality checks on all finished products
  • Assist in pastry preparation under the guidance of senior chefs
Requirements:
  • Experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a luxury or premium environment
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing or supervising a team
  • Creativity and a passion for innovation in pastry, with excellent attention to detail in both taste and presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining high standards at all times
  • A positive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for mentoring and supporting junior chefs
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
