The Role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs and manufacturers in the automotive, materials handling, machine builders, and industrial engineering sectors.
- Sell high-value orders to clients, leveraging your technical knowledge and sales skills to close deals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Work closely with our sales manager to develop sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in a technical field, preferably in the engineering and manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Full UK driving license required.
