Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex International & US Casualty claims in the Reinsurance industry. As a key member of the Global claims team, you will work closely with Underwriting and Actuarial teams to ensure seamless claim handling processes.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of International & US Casualty claims across both London Market and Lloyd's platforms
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Actuarial teams to resolve claim issues and trends
  • Actively participate in Cedent claim review activity as a key service to internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Monitor trends and developments in Casualty claims and keep underwriters and actuaries up to date
  • Keep up to date with legal developments and their impact on reinsurance contracts
  • Collaborate with members of the Global claims team to ensure consistency in claim handling processes

Requirements:

  • Previous Claims experience within the Reinsurance industry
  • Knowledge of both International & US Casualty claims preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving, and sound judgment
  • Ability to operate in a collaborative environment and manage a portfolio of claims independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, particularly Excel
