Dispute Resolution Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our team at a well-established local North London Law firm. The successful candidate will provide support to the existing Dispute Resolution department, particularly in the area of residential property disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of residential property disputes, including leaseholder/freeholder disputes, rent arrears matters, breach of contract matters, and employment matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential referrers and obtain regular positive feedback from clients, colleagues, and referrers.
  • Take on responsibility within a close-knit team and help to teach trainees and paralegals.
  • Deal directly with clients to take instructions and deliver on client expectations.
  • Work closely with partners and solicitors to develop client relationship skills.
  • Identify and follow relevant SRA principles and rules of professional conduct.
  • Comply with risk management processes and policies.
Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills.
  • Adept client care skills and ability to manage own caseload.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time-sensitive matters, and taking responsibility for delegated tasks.
  • Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have obtained a 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree.
  • 3 years PQE with experience in property dispute resolution.
