About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at A-Plan. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for developing and testing our front-end applications to ensure they are scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute automated test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues to help them progress towards senior roles
  • Drive up standards and quality, and maximize throughput of the team through a robust CI/CD mindset
  • Work with other seniors to take lead roles on architectural and technical designs
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the test pyramid and various testing techniques
  • Demonstrable experience working with C#, Blazor, or other front-end technologies
  • Comfortable working closely with software engineers and promoting a quality-is-everyone's-responsibility mindset
  • Strong understanding and experience in testing accessibility needs and relevant standards
  • Familiarity with Test-driven Development and a strong commitment to high-quality, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code
  • Experience coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
