Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at nexos in Aberdeen. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the management of brownfield modification and repair order scopes within your designated project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and own scope plans to ensure timely completion and input to Contract Improvement Plans as required.
  • Provide input to Contract/Project Reviews where necessary.
  • Ensure timely approval of project budgets and CTRs.
  • Carry out scope categorisation reviews for all scopes alongside relevant functions and record output.
  • Manage resources to meet project plans and liaise with functions to support up-mans or down-mans.
  • Develop fully resource-loaded schedules to deliver scope plans, along with accurate resourcing profiles.
  • Estimate individual scopes in a timely and controlled manner.
  • Issue agreed plans and schedules to drive performance and contract requirements.
  • Manage project data, drawings, and documentation effectively.
  • Ensure contract KPIs are met where relevant.
  • Ensure efficient and timely invoicing for responsible scope.
  • Review project purchase orders received from clients and ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex brownfield projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to form solid relationships with key stakeholders.
