GMV Distribution Ltd is a family-owned business with a rich history of trading on the same site for over 40 years.
We specialize in refurbishing a wide range of items, from household appliances to Christmas decorations.
Job Responsibilities
- Process return electrical and non-electrical items, refurbishing them to a high standard.
- Unpack, test, clean, repair, and repackage items for resale.
- Label products once they have been refurbished.
- Identify products on job pallets and ensure accurate labeling.
- Replace motors and belts as part of the refurbishment process.
- Assemble and disassemble products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Identify damaged goods and strip them down into saleable parts where possible, reducing waste and minimizing landfill.
- Send cardboard waste to the shredding area for recycling and reuse in packaging.
Requirements
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential for success in this role.
- The ideal candidate is a hard worker who can thrive in a team environment.
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Excel are a significant advantage.
