We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at DJH. Our vibrant and diverse client base requires a skilled professional to deliver accurate bookkeeping, VAT returns, and excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client bookkeeping, reconciliations, and adjustments to produce accurate financial information.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns under various VAT schemes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients, providing valuable advice on their liabilities.
  • Post and scan invoices, and complete CIS returns for clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in using Xero software, with a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of VAT return processes and various schemes, with the ability to advise clients on their liabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering a great client experience.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
