Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Systems Lead to join our Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group at MASS Consultants in Farnborough.

About the Role

This is a key opportunity for a skilled systems engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of new capability within our state-of-the-art test and evaluation facility. You will work closely with our Principal Solution Architect to ensure successful deployment, verification, and validation of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain system requirements specifications using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance during deployment to help with design tasks.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather use cases and create requirements documentation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholder queries and provide subject matter expertise.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field such as engineering or computer science.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering, test and acceptance of integrated systems, and the engineering delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of MBSE tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Coding experience in languages such as JavaScript or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Defence industry knowledge of EW systems.
  • Previous ex-military experience with EW systems.
