Job Role: Office Coordinator

As an Office Coordinator at CITB, you will be responsible for providing exceptional reception and office management services to our Head Office in Peterborough. This role requires a customer-focused approach, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional reception services to staff and visitors, ensuring a positive impression of CITB.
  • Manage security access, issue electronic security passes, and report faults on Access Card systems.
  • Ensure conference facilities are clear, tidy, and well-presented, offering technical support for audio visual services.
  • Order and receive food for external meetings, supply tea/coffee and water as needed.
  • Maintain and order catering and stationary supplies within budget, adhering to CITB procedures.
  • General office management, including identifying and reporting maintenance and breakdown issues, monitoring service 'tickets' for resolution.
  • Act as the primary Fire Marshal and First Aider for the Peterborough office, ensuring cover during annual leave.
  • Provide coordinator support to the Head of Estates, Facilities and Fleet Management, assisting with wider team duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Education to A Level standard or equivalent experience.
  • Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated and positive attitude towards work.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
