Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation, and attending to clinical care needs as required. You will work closely with our service users to ensure their independence and dignity are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users in their own homes
  • Assist with moving and handling, meal preparation, and clinical care needs as required
  • Work closely with service users to ensure their independence and dignity are maintained
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements
  • 3 months of previous care experience
  • Personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, and driving license
  • Desirable: spinal injury care, knowledge of autonomic dysreflexia, respiratory care, cough assist, ventilation management, catheter care, and bowel management
