We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our team in West London. As a critical member of our Infrastructure Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities.

Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and Transformers">
  3. Conduct daily operational readings of equipment and identify potential issues before they become major problems">
  4. Develop and implement procedures for standardizing equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices">
  5. Foster strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the organization">
  6. Pursue ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and methodologies in data center operations">
  7. Work collaboratively with the engineering and facilities teams to address operational issues and implement process improvements">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair">
  • Apprentice/trades certification or diploma in an Electrical/Mechanical field or equivalent recognized training">
  • Broad operational knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical equipment">

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
