About the Role:



We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an excellent secondary school in Washington.



This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for education to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.



Your Key Responsibilities:




  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' learning and development.
  • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, addressing their specific needs.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support teachers in assessing student progress and providing feedback to guide their development.
  • Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively.
  • Assist in organising and supervising extracurricular activities and school events.


You Will Be:




  • A recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
  • Able to communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents.
  • Strong in classroom management, organisation and adaptability.
  • Possess a methodical, understanding and compassionate approach to helping young students.
  • Flexible and able to cover various subjects.
  • Passionate about education and committed to supporting students' learning progress.
  • Able to provide an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
