About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an excellent secondary school in Washington.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for education to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' learning and development.
- Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, addressing their specific needs.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Support teachers in assessing student progress and providing feedback to guide their development.
- Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively.
- Assist in organising and supervising extracurricular activities and school events.
You Will Be:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
- Able to communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents.
- Strong in classroom management, organisation and adaptability.
- Possess a methodical, understanding and compassionate approach to helping young students.
- Flexible and able to cover various subjects.
- Passionate about education and committed to supporting students' learning progress.
- Able to provide an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
