Room Leader Opportunity at Bright Horizons Farnborough Day Nursery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Farnborough Day Nursery. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities and experiences that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the needs of each child are met and their progress is tracked.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating, and that all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's curriculum and ensure it is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Requirements:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding policies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents, and to communicate effectively with children and adults.
